Expansion Plans We're growing our business to better serve our customers and would like to share with you our expansion plans. New Commissary Kitchen in Gilbert Each day we prepare thousands of fresh homemade tortillas, hundreds of gallons of our famous bean dip, and many other delicious food items. As you might imagine, it takes a lot of kitchen space to prepare all this! So, to keep up with the hungry demand for our quality Mexican food, we built a new commissary kitchen in Gilbert. This facility, which opened in July 2008, is over six thousand square feet and supplies our seven restaurant locations with fresh daily food items. Building to New Heights In the near future, we will be breaking ground for a new 30,000 square foot building. When completed, this three-story building will feature retail space on the ground floor. Offices will be located on the second floor, while our corporate office will be on the third floor. We're really excited about these developments and want to thank you, our customers, for your continuing patronage. You are the key ingredient for our success! |

It all started in 1979,when Ernie and Eva Serrano were working in the family
business, Serrano's Clothing Store, in downtown Chandler. The Serrano family
had several clothing stores dating back to 1919, making Serrano's the oldest,
continuous family owned business in Chandler.
Using the same Serrano's logo as their clothing stores, Ernie and Eva opened their first restaurant in 1979 just behind the clothing store in downtown Chandler. Shortly after, they decided to close their last clothing store and put all their efforts into the restaurant business. Their efforts were prosperous, and a few years later their son, Ric, joined the Company and opened their second location in Tempe. Today, the Serrano family owns and operates 8 restaurants with 7 Mexican food locations in the Southeast area and Brunchie's, a breakfast and lunch restaurant in downtown Chandler: (Note: In June 2004, a community article appeared in the Arizona Republic that described Serrano's as a downtown Chandler icon.
